Prior to opening her practice, Ms. Elbially worked for several years at non-profits on a wide variety of legal issues that affected the civil liberties of Muslims in the United States involving criminal, civil, and immigration law.

SEHLA ASHAI, OF COUNSEL
Sehla is an attorney with a background in immigration, human trafficking and child protection. She has worked as a labor organizer for taxi drivers, a legal aid attorney for victims of violence, a consultant for relief projects in Haiti, and a program specialist in nonprofit program development. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, and her Juris Doctor from University of Michigan Law School.

NOSAYBA, OFFICE MANAGER
Nosayba is our Office Manager and is pursuing her Masters of Divinity to become a Chaplain for incarcerated Muslim women. She is a pillar in the Dallas community, serving on the steering committee for Muslim Americans for Black Lives- North Texas, the Voter Center Advisory Committee, and the board for local non-profits. NOURAN, PARALEGAL
Nouran is a Paralegal and a Master of Healthcare Management candidate at The University of Texas at Dallas. She joined our team in 2023 and has gained experience in immigration, criminal, and civil law. Nouran is an active member of her college campus and Dallas community. Speaks: Arabic/English

Jimena is a Paralegal and Texas State University student majoring in International Business. She joined our team in 2024. Before moving to Texas, she grew up in Veracruz, Mexico. Fun fact: Jimena has a cat named Simba and four dogs. Speaks: Spanish/English

Sumehra is a Paralegal and student at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Cognitive Science. She is active in leadership in several student organizations. She joined the team in 2024. Fun fact: Sumehra is a published poet! Speaks: Bengali/English
TYLER GATELY, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT
Tyler serves as a consultant to Elbially Law PLLC. Tyler served in several nonprofit roles including working with a Muslim rights organization. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Belmont Abbey College, a Master of Science from Northeastern University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
